A "late model" Cruiser with 7K hours and that has not flown much in recent years most likely spent its earlier life as a primary trainer.  I'd make sure that the pre-buy includes a look at the items that can be damaged by rough handling over time, like the hard points where the main gear attach to the wing spar (look for "pimples" in the wing skin above the gear attach bolts), and cracks in the doubler structure under the wing walk (manifests as "oil-canning" of the skin there).  That's in addition to the checks others have recommended.
