So, I've noticed that my oil fill tube on my Cherokee 140 will unscrew/loosen when I unscrew the dipstick lid. I checked and it is safety wired but it still allows it enough play to loosen. I can tighten it by hand but it's plastic so I'm hesitant to crank much on it for fear of stripping out the plastic threads. At the same time I don't really want it to come loose every time I unscrew my oil cap. What is normally done to keep it stuck in place so the cap turns and not the fill tube?

Thoughts are greatly appreciated! :)

Thank You,

Mike
