There is always a small amount of oil collected at the base of my dry vacuum pump’s accessory pad (pump side / aft). I wipe it off & fly, and voila - more oil.

Both of the gaskets (one between the accessory pad and case, the other between the pump & accessory pad), plus the STD-208 oil seal, were replaced 2 weeks ago - no change at all. The gasket between the pump and pad is from Tempest and has none of the “old style” holes. The gaskets & seal were all replaced with the intent to stop this very leak. The oil is unquestionably exiting the ejection ports on the vacuum pump, which means oil is getting by the oil seal.

The amount of oil is minimal - barely enough to put a film on my finger tip. Is this normal?
