I know friction and wear is what kills an engine. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience on running anti-wear additives in their aircraft engines. I am not talking about the slick 50 Teflon crappie sold for cars. But there are some reallyrics new technology additives put there that appear to really reduce wear in engines? Are there any FAA mandates that would be violated by using one?
