While reviewing service bulletins and letters for the TA3, I ran across this one. I’d never heard of it before but realized I do indeed see precious few turbo’d Pipers make as-such (though I still see the occasional TA3 or TA4 with the big “TURBO” logo on the cowling).

short version: you must take the markings off your plane, because line fuelers will eventually confuse it for a turboprop and put jet fuel in your tanks.
