How many folk use no flaps when landing in crosswinds? My flight review was last Friday. Really strong and gusty crosswind. CFI asked if I still wanted to fly. I figured it’s a great opportunity to have her watch my back. Although I said it may not by pretty.

First landing was with one notch. Not pretty but what I expected. She said let’s do no flaps. Certainly had more aileron authority. Was definitely tougher to slow down. Something I’ll spend some time working on in the future.
