Howdy and welcome, for a 66hour pilot with 0 in a PA28, my first year insurance was somewhere between 700-800 bucks a year, for my 2nd year with approx 90 in a PA28 and 150 total time,   it dropped to 585.00, I renew in February and have another 60-70 hours in it, I hope it drops a little more. That was decent coverage bought through AOPA with a 25K hull value. When I added my 0 time Student wife my first year, it increased the premium $60.00.  I can't comment on hangar space in NJ, I do shudder  thinking about it though...
