I’m seriously thinking of putting in the Garmin 175 GPS, G3 touch and the Garmin 500 auto pilot I already have a single G5. 2 VORs one with vertical nav for ILS and an old heading bug AP. It’s on its last legs. I’m 66 so I’d like a little more help in the cockpit. The wife is not real crazy about any IMC flying so I limit it to approaches into coastal airports where we run into early morning fog. We get above it quickly and keeps her happy. I will get rid of all my old avionics except the G5. I’m thinking this way I can get rid of my vacuum as well. I had also thought about just adding another G5 instead of the G3 touch but looks like the G3 gives you a lot bigger view
looks very cool too!
Any thoughts ?
Thanks, kelly
