I recently installed a new nose wheel pant, which I bought from Knots 2 U. On the first flight I noticed the right pedal pressure in a climb was very minimal.

Rudder input in flight is extremely light to get it moving and then when pressure is released it won't come back to neutral. Its as if the nose fairing is perfectly balanced so it stays where you leave it, even if that is not centered. The airplane will crab along with all controls released. This is less than optimal in my opinion, but after flying so long with no nose wheel fairing, I'm not sure if I am reading more into this than need be.

Is what I am experiencing normal with the nose wheel fairing on? Without the fairing everything trimmed out perfectly.

Any thoughts?

Just to clarify .. if centered up everything is fine. However in rough turbulence it can deviate from center and then tends to stay there until I apply pedal to bring it back center.
