Found a great AME for may annual and the deeper he digs the more he finds concerning corrosion. I need the right front passenger side window replaced. The window has been ordered but the metal interior molding or trim is badly corroded in various places, mostly the bottom from, I guess, water accumulating over the years. I'm not sure if the molding can be patched and repaired. It's not a structural piece but looking for a used one runs the risk of buying one in the same condition. Are new replacement pieces being made as I have Googled with no luck?
Also this piece at the bottom of the rudder is corroded and needs replacement. I have been trying to find a parts break down of the rudder to get a part number? Once again I will be looking for a replacement.
