Hello Everyone,

New here to these forums. Thank you to all for the great discussions.

I own a '67 PA-28-140 and the gentleman I purchased the plane from had a new instrument panel layout machined to accommodate re-positioning the instruments in the standard "6-pack" for IFR training.

What are my options for putting the new panel cutout in place? It does not fit right over the stock layout so the existing panel needs to be modified. That seems to involve cutting out the existing pilot-side panel and riveting in the new layout. Is that something I can do?

Thank you in advance.
