Just curios of what other pilots think of planes that have missing log books .

How much does this decrease plane value ? 30%-40%? All the 30 year pilots I’ve talked to have said walk away don’t buy a plane missing the logs . I have to agree , I’ve currently seen 2 planes for sale with missing books and they are priced as if logs are complete .

If financing a plane does the lender require complete logs ? I would think they would .

If I would find that forever plane missing the books and it was a great deal , it would be tempting to buy .
