Hello. I want to describe an incident that has occurred a few times. Has anyone experienced this situation, and do you know how to solve the problem?
During a flight on a Piper Lance PA32 300R 1976, the red shift lamp of the wheels lit up and the fuse of the wheel system flickered.
After I put the fuse in, I lowered the wheels. There were two "green" of the main wheels but not of the nose wheel.
After a few minutes, I re-inserted the fuse, lifted the wheel handle for 2-3 seconds and lowered it again.
Again, there were two "green" of the main wheels but not of the nose wheel.
It was only after I shook the plane with the pedals at about 85 knots that the green light of the nose wheel was lit.
Upon examination, it became clear that the engine of the wheel system pump was constantly running and warming up, trying to build up pressure.
We can't find the source of the problem.
Can any one help?
Thank you.
Jonathan
