Hi All,

I'm a relative newbie to this forum, an habitual forum reader and owner of a 1997 Arrow III based in Europe.

I'm hoping someone might shed some light on an issue that cropped up today. On a short local flight the low voltage warning light started flashing a fairly regular pulse every two or three seconds.
The ammeter showed a normal load and response to switching on additional load ie. pitot heat. unloading made no difference to the regular pulsing.

On the ground the pulsing light cleared and indications returned to normal.

My mechanic suggested it might be related to the gear power pack but was otherwise uncertain as to the reason for the anomaly.

Has anyone had a similar problem and know the cause?
