slight problem with my ’86 Arrow IV. Seems to be insufficient voltage as the legacy gauge indicates a slight discharge at all times.
several voltage sensitive items drop out as a result. The Garmin 430 shuts down and reboots continually. And the Aspen PFD reverts to backup battery power, Both on the ground and during first few minutes of cruise. However, the engine cranks well on the ground. And after say 30 minutes in the air at cruise rpm’s, the problems disappear. And the JPI Engine monitor shows 13.4 volts in cruise. Thoughts? Note attached pic showing discharge ammeter and pdf on backup at cruise rpms.
