Trying to fill out the order form for the EI CGR-30P this morning. You must complete a questionnaire about your particular aircraft, based on options you are requesting, prior to ordering the unit. One section deals with CHT range(s). I have attempted to look in the Lycoming Operator's manual, but only see a CHT max temperature of 500°F in it. Does anyone know whether or not there are published ranges for the various lycoming engines, or is it just a maximum to not exceed? I also checked the POH for the Lance, but didn't see it even mentioned in there. I did call EI to inquire about what others use for values, but they said they couldn't release that information, it would have to come from our end. If anyone else has ordered one of these, I would appreciate hearing where you obtained these values. Thanks in advance.
