I am looking for advice in (hopefully) repairing a part.

The arm on my carburetor airbox valve assy. P/N 87327-02 is damaged. It is on a 1982 Warrior II PA-28-161 with an O-320-D3G engine. I know Chaparral Parts has an assembly. However they would like $506.90 for the part.

Has anyone repaired or replaced the arm on the assembly?
