Just flew from KWST (Westerly RI) to KPGD (Punta Gorda FL) in my Cherokee 140. Was really hoping to do it in one VERY long day of flying but the weather God was not in my favor. Ran into snow showers in NC and had to sit in a hotel for 2 days. Fortunately, my plane didn't let me down one bit. Purred like a kitten the whole flight. Just shy of 11 total hours of flying. Wishing I had something faster but the finances just don't work out. And since I only have to make this trip twice a year, it's not terrible. Anyone else make longer flights in their little Cherokees? Would love to swap stories!
