I was doing a 12 month inspection of the ELT in an aircraft and noticed that D cell batteries were leaking inside the unit. These same batteries were replaced the year before at the last annual..

The batteries were Duracell units, however I noticed that they were manufactured in China?

Has anyone had this problem?

Thanks
