In March of this year I had the landing gear power pack replace and all of the actuators rebuild. The landing gear operates very well in all phases with one exception; during the first second or 2 of gear extension there is a loud scraping sound (video attached).

The conventional wisdom at the time was that there was air in the line and it would eventually work its way out. Well It’s been six months and the sound has not improved a bit.

There is no sign of any metal to metal contact. One anomaly is that the right main gear dropped aggressively to the lock position during emergency release while the left deploys slowly.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Nick
