Zero Tango came with a KNS80 that worked - usually. After a recent bout of display flashing it went to the avionics shop where it was not only cured but tweaked and peaked as well. While it was gone, Garmin Pilot added distance measuring capability. Since I'd just paid a lot to get the KNS80 healthy, I decided to try the ARNAV feature using Pilot to get the radial offsets. I input the course to my son's airport (5 offsets, 3 VORs) and flew it last Sunday. It worked -mostly. Think I'll keep using Pilot for primary nav but see this as something to do on a longer cross country.
