KFC 150 vs. STEC 55X Autopilots ???

I have no experience with any autopilot.

I am trying my best to choose between two Saratoga candidates. All things being equal, one has:
> a KFC 150 Autopilot with Flight Director & Slaved DG, King KI 525A PNI, and a KAS 297B Altitude Preselect.

The other has:
> an S-Tec 55X Autopilot with Flight Director, S-Tec 360 Altitude Pre-Select with Vertical Speed Selector, and a slaved S-Tec ST-180 HSI.

Does anyone have experience with both and have any tie-breaker input?

I know that going with the King system locks me out of any future Avidyne DFC 90/100 upgrade.
