Enough of COVID-19, I think I am going to turn off the TV news. ;)

I overcame my guilt about leaving the house on a non-essential task, and took the plane out for a quick spin. I can drive right up to my hangar, and never pass close to a soul. I gloved to open the hangar, and brought spares to reglove again when leaving. Lots of alcohol gel available. Airport was dead anyway, flying club and flight school are closed, but we are still fueling.

It was just a nothing local flight, because you really can't "go" anywhere anyway, and of course you can't take anyone along (other than the Mrs.) but it was delightful. It was nice to be somewhere where things make sense!

Just flying along the north shore of L. Erie

And in "syn vis" view.

Flying back in the opposite direction, a good view of the impressive Long Point that runs well into L. Erie. (only marred by some window reflections) Amazing to see all the sand bars, that wander all over in that area.

Then did a simulated RNav approach back home, and that was it. I feel much better!
