I calibrated my JPI830 on the ground with engine off as per the documentation. Later, while flying, I see that at low MP it agrees with my EI primary gauge, but at cruise MPs (19-21 or so), the JPI reads 0.5" higher than the EI.

I know I need the MP accurate to set the HP constant which started at 108 but needed to be near 130 to get the HP right. Should I try to get the MPs to match while in flight at a cruise power setting?
