Is there a need for a GA maintenance tracking app?

Hello, I am posting this here because I'm a Cherokee 235 owner/devotee, and I have gotten a lot of great information on Piper Forum over the years.

I've been thinking about, in my spare time, developing an iPhone/iPad app for GA aircraft owners/operators to track maintenance - something like a squawk sheet with the ability to prioritize, check things off, include photos, share with your shop, track times for everything time or calendar based from oil changes to TBOs.

Any thoughts on this possible project?
