InTransit Light Stays On After Raising Gear

About 25% of the time after takeoff when I raise the landing gear on my Piper Arrow, the InTransit light will stay on. When you lower the gear and raise them again, the light will go off and stay off. The light only comes on when you raise them after takeoff and not inflight. Any suggestions? Thanks
