We reused the FF gauge from the FS450 when installing an HDX a few months ago. It’s now started intermittently reading 0 gph, usually after a power reduction and/or leaning. Enriching brought an indication, but too low to be realistic. No idea if this is new since the install as the old FS450 was located where I almost never looked at it when not leaning.

Is this a typical failure mode for these things and a replacement acquired, or could there be a bit of crud that just needs to be cleared out?

If a replacement is the right answer, is the “red cube” the correct one for a PA28-181?
