Went through the old blogs but did not see anything.
This past Sat and Sun while on a trip I started to get static on both my radios. Sometimes at the point that I could not hear ATC. I got ready to pull my spare portable out when it cleared up. I know it is not from the Alternator or ignition as the noise does not change and it sounds like static.
I told ATC of the Static and they had me change frequencies and it cleared up. It was happening on 122.8 as well.
I don't know if was outside interference or not, but now that I think about it the static occurred in the same area.
I figured I would check the grounds to the radios and check the connections on the coax to make sure they are tight.
Any other Ideas?
