I am having my interior redone on my 63 Cherokee 160. I am dropping it off at the interior shop this Saturday. My AI told me since I am having a custom interior done that I need to make sure that the headliner has zippers put in for trim access and antenna access. My current headliner only has a small half moon zipper in the rear to access one of the original antennas. When I asked the interior installer about the zippers to allow access he told me to draw on the original headliner where I wanted zippers put in and he would add them. I am looking for suggestions if anyone else has had zippers installed or what might be recommended for access. I guess Incould put a zipper down the middle of the entire headliner from the trim to the bulkhead but I don’t think that is necessary or would look that great. Any suggestions or pictures would be greatly appreciated.
