I am contemplating replacing the carpet in my 1974 Archer I (PA28-180). I was looking at SCS interiors and noticed they have kits for the Cherokee 180 (PA28-180) and Archer II (PA28-181). I emailed with a question about whether the Archer II kit would fit my Archer 180. The answer I got was to order the kit for Cherokee 180 or if I didn’t think it would fit then do not order a kit from them. The SCS rep said that the Archer II kits are only for -181s.

Now, I know that a Cherokee 180 fuselage is smaller/shorter than an Archer so a 180 kit will not fit. My question is whether or not the interior of an Archer II the same as a first generation Archer??
