Over the winter I bought an EI US-8A analyzer. Objective is to have CHT monitoring. That gauge seemed to be the best fit for my mission.

With the cold weather, my travel schedule and my IA's work schedule, it has not been installed yet. Weather getting better, as is my work schedule. Thus, want to get the gauge installed.

My Cherokee has the Alcor single EGT gauge. Plan to remove that for the US-8A. I want to preface this by saying I have not been able to detail a plan with my IA. But have talked to others at my drome. Botton line is that with IA looking over our should when he has a second, we can install it ousrselve. :D

My question is on the power source. How is the best way to get power to the new gauge? Will I need to install a new breaker/fuse? Power draw is low: 0.3 amps. Install is towards the right side of the panel. Besides, this, install is very straight forward.

Thanks all for any input.

Gary
