I have been contemplating installing Insight G4 in my Seneca II. I had the panel completely redone and moved a bunch of gauges along with my RPM (switched out to single gauge with dual RPM needles) and Manifold Gauges up by the six pack and love this setup. Honestly, this is how Piper should have done it instead of putting them where they are very difficult to read. Piper did fix this with the Seneca III onwards. I am wanting to install the G4 where my Manifold Gauge is currently and move my JPI 450 M fuel totalizer right below where my RPM gauge is currently. In order to do this I will have to move my existing RPM and Manifold Gauges where they originally were.
My questions are;
How do people with G4 installed in a Seneca like the unit? I know there are at least 2 members on this forum who have G4 in Senecas
What was the total cost of the unit plus installation?
Thanks a ton in advance!
Here is what my panel looks like currently. View attachment ImageUploadedByPiper Forum1493780278.840666.jpgView attachment ImageUploadedByPiper Forum1493780321.963170.jpgView attachment ImageUploadedByPiper Forum1493780354.098884.jpg
