Congrats! 


The day after I got my instrument - pre 9/11 - I flew home to PDX on a United 757.  We shot a CAT IIIA approach - where the tower was on top of the overcast and you could see it sticking up through the clouds on downwind.  After landing, I told the pilots how neat it was since I just got my instrument, and they said that if I had told them before flight, they would have let me come up and watch.  Aurgh!
