My 1969 Arrow has a stall warning light. What is the best way to check that the stall warning light is operational?

I tried a method yesterday that worked well! I took some blue painter's tape, taped it to the underside of the stall warning vane, then pulled it up and taped it to the wing, putting the the vane in a "stalled" condition. Hopped in the plane, master switch on, light works!

Any other thoughts on how to accomplish this check if you are solo?

Have a great day!

Don
