Hello everyone. I've read various threads about adding rear seat shoulder belts. My 1972 PA32 had rear shoulder belts as an option, but my plane doesn't have them. But I've heard that the shoulder mount (a sheet metal bracket) itself might have been installed in the factory, although the belt was not installed. Short of pulling down the head liner and looking, can I determine if the mounts are there by looking at the exterior rivets? If the mounts are there, I can add rear belts without an STC, which would be nice.

Thanks! Randy
