I departed N14 at 13:00 and Landed in Brampton CNC3 at 16:10 local. Couple of hours later I was getting alerts from FlightAware that my tail number was spotted over MI and NY.

The track logs showed my Dakota N8465S at FL370 and FL290 doing over 450kt.

Thoughts? What could have caused it?

So called Toronto center to make sure what was going on. Only explanation she gave was could be same squawk code got assigned to someone else across the border. I closed my plan with Toronto while I was on final, so not sure how it got messed up. Good he wasn’t doing 130kt at 9000 ft else it would be harder to explain.
