It has been a LONG time but I went down this road with a early s/n 180 once.


It seems that the Installation Instructions  for the Service Kit specified a DIFFERENT LOCATION that the


existing Non-Heated Pitot.


It may have been the NEW location was the same as later production s/n.


I doubt if the instructions for a NEW Installation are in the Service Manual.


Service Letter may be a better bet.


I'm SURE many foks will NOT want to know this!
