For all of you with the latest and greatest that the avionics world has to offer... from a couple of decades ago: I'm looking at shelling out for a NavData subscription for my GNS430W. Any advice for the best deal these days? When I crossed the border from Maine to New Brunswick after picking up my new-to-me aircraft, suddenly the Garmin thought I was pulling a Germanwings when I went to land at CYSJ to clear customs. So I need to upgrade to a U.S. *and* Canada plan unlike the previous owner sprung for.

Can any of our consistent Canadian contributors offer any insights? From my navigating of Jepp and Garmin's websites (which was a feat in itself), I think that Garmin has the edge with an all North America subscription. But I'm open to any advice before pulling the trigger! Many thanks in advance!
