The ADS-B GPS antenna needs to be horizontal in in level flight. The Comm antenna is at the top of the cabin. No harden mounts stern of the rear bulk head. so moving the comm antenna would be a pain in the butt.

I was thinking the comm and GPS frequency are far apart. could I locate the GPS antenna near the comm antenna?

If mount about 6 inched back, The GPS would be level, Easy install and not trashing the head liner. Easy to route the RG 400 between the wind screen ( next to the comm cable).

Question how close to the comm antenna can the GPS antenna be mounted?
