Got to replace my Autopilot.... Used work ?

I have a old vintage 3 axis STEC 60-2 that is just not worth fixing anymore, problem after problem, unsafe and spent more money on it than it is worth. I have rebuilt all three servos and trim.

I really want a digital modern (DFC90) type but that ain't gonna happen anytime soon for the PA32 series. Does anyone know if I could get a yellow tagged STEC 55X and legally make it work in my Toga and with my servos ?

Hate pouring big cash in an old technology autopilot.
