picked up the GDL52 in place of the GDL39, I was having issues with the GDL39 and after it made a big mistake while flying in the DC area...I had enough of its problems. I have now flown wit hthe GDL52 on three flights and I must admit it is one nice piece of equipment to have. Have not had any issues, the free trial for XM weather is nice (not sure I will keep it) and I have had zero problems thus far. The price is a bit steep but if it behaves like this, it will be well worth the money.
