I put 5.5 hours in the log book yesterday. About 2 hours from home while scanning the panel, I saw that my Oil Temp was pegged all the way to the right, maxed out. Further investigation showed that all the gauges in the cluster (Fuel L/R, Volts, Oil Pressure, Fuel Pressure and the Oil Temp) were maxed out to the right.

Within a couple of minutes they all came back to normal. This happened a couple of times for the remainder of the flight home. I found that I can tap the gauges and they will come back to normal with a few taps.

Loose connection behind the panel?
Short? Time of the cluster to be overhauled?
Wings are gonna fall off?

Little additional info: My Generator Gauge has always bounced at idle on the ground, but once in flight it stays steady without any bounce.
