Garmin terrain data card update question

So I'm looking to update my 430w terrain data card, i understand that the update only comes from Garmin (flygarmin.com) and that I need a Garmin card programmer instead of my jeppesen programmer
Does the terrain card update also update obstacles? I'm looking mostly for the obsticals to be updated when in the terrain map page of the 430
