Called Garmin last week and found out that now they provide subscription to 530 database also and one has an option to but it from Garmin or Jep. Garmin included one time terrain and obstacle with one year subscription. U was also told that I would need to buy a Garmin adapter for programming the updates and it wouldn't work with sky bound adapter. I would assume we would need the same adapter needed for database as we did for terrain updates.
