Garmin in-house training

I have the opportunity to attend a two day seminar on the operation of the GTN series from Garmin @ Garmin in Kansas. This is normally a $500 class but I can go under the Avionics shop for gratis. I just have to cover Hotel, Flight & car. Lots of points so most of those expenses are free.

Has anyone ever attended Garmin in-house seminars or know anyone that has? Looking for feedback if this is worth it the 2.5 days of time away.
