Garmin GI275 and Piper Autocontrol IIIB

I would like to look at installing a pair of Garmin GI275 and ditch the vacuum system. I have perfectly working Autocontrol IIIB w/a DAC 31 GPSS - Garmin 430W. From what I am reading this approved and is something other Piper owners have done.

I understand some additional hardware will be needed ? Some have used a Auto Pilot interface unit from Delkin Technologies that simplifies the wiring .
