Have ordered a TT autopilot which will be hooked to a Garmin 430 (non-waas). Have held off on this purchase awaiting the (STC) Slow Type Certificate from Aspen on the E5. Spoke with Aspen and they are still in limbo. Am now considering dual G5s instead. What capabilities (if any) would I be sacrificing by going with the G5s knowing that Garmin likes to only play well with their own products. It seems that since there is connectivity between the G5s and the 430 that there could be some indirect control with the TruTrak. Does it work that way? thx for any info
