I just purchased and installed a Aera 500. I installed in my panel using an Air Gizmos angled mount. I also have the data cable which will allow me to connect the Aera to my 530. My question is what can I do once they are connected? Can I transfer flight plans from the Aera to the 530 or is it the other way around?
I am going to have to pay the Avionics shop to install the cable but I want to make sure it is something worth while before I shell out the money for it. The 530 will have to be removed to get to the connectors on the tray for the install so the install is not going to be cheap.
