OK, so being a steam gauge guy my whole life, this new fangled gizmo screen stuff is pretty complex at times. I don't have a computer engineering degree, but am having this problem that I can't seem to find a straight answer for....

Set the Alt bug to desired altitude, press the ALTC button. The ALT light on the KFC-150 extinguishes, and the command bars don't move. I have gotten it to work on a VFR day when I could deviate, and had a safety pilot to watch outside, but for the dang life of me, I don't remember which keystrokes/order I got the ALTC to engage.

It's a powerful piece of tech, and having the functionality reduces the pilot workload. Usually when I have the time to mess with it I am either in a busy environment or in the system and can't deviate. Anyone have some sage advice, i.e. directions on how to work this feature?
