G5 position source

I have a Stratus ESG and a Garmin Aera 510 on a gizmo mount in my panel, both have exterior fuselage mounted antennas. I know the G5 needs a position source. Will either of these existing sources work for this purpose or am I stuck needing a GTN650 or similar unit? I know I can do it with a GA35 antenna, but am reluctant to put another antenna up there.
